Nokia Music Store - what a pile of crap.

I bought a Nokia 5800 Xpress Music and it came with a voucher for 25 downloads. I've been dowloading these over the past couple of months. I recently had to do a restore of my phone and the songs have now lost their licences and it'll cost a euro a pop to renew them. The PC version of the app can't retrieve the licences either... What a dose of rubbish.

  1. If you login to your account using either the phone or the Nokia Music PC application you should be able to go to your account history and re-download the tracks for nowt.

  2. Thanks for the info.

I can re-download without problems but I'm asked to pay to get the new licence.

  4. Nokia Music store interface is a pain to use. Looks like the store was launched in a hurry!

  5. I am trying to use the free voucher that came with the phone. Apart from the real pain it was to download everything, I cannot work out how to buy anything.
I tick the track I want. Then what? How do I send it to a shopping basket, how do I confirm the sale, where would the track download if I were lucky enough to get that far?
This proves Nokia should stick to making phones.

  6. You have to wonder if Nokia are 5th columnists, trying to encourage illegal downloading by producing an utterly incompetent website.
