Komplett & WEEE - Part 2.

You may remember my post last Friday detailing Komplett's refusal to adhere to the WEEE regulations by not taking back an old TV. Added to this refusal to adhere to legislation was their refusal to stand by the commitment on their site that they would collect WEEE. On Monday I contacted the EPA who were extremely helpful. They contacted Komplett and reminded them of their obligations. Komplett emailed me and informed me that a courier would be in contact to arrange collection. This afternoon the TV was collected and the saga ends. I'm grateful and happy that the EPA was willing to bat for this consumer - they could really show the NCA a thing or two.
