Do Taxis follow any rules ?
On Saturday night I was outside Le Chateau for around 45 mins. During this time 5 different taxis broke the lights coming from Academy Street (and 1 along Patrick St.). Straight through the red light and green man without a care in the world. Did I miss the part about the Rules of the Road not applying to them ?

Not only that, but the fuckers have the cheek to beep you if you happen to be stopped in front of them at a red light.
ReplyDeleteThere was one night, sometime after midnight outside the Gate cinema where a car was stopped at the lights and a taxi came up behind blowing its horn, it then swerved out around the parked car and went through the red lights. While doing so, the taxi driver decided to hurl some abuse at the other driver out through his open window. I guess fixed rates are hurting.
